Riga Overview
Riga is a fairy-tale city, once dubbed the ‘Paris of the east’ it combines timeless elegance with a heady mix of old and new. The city centre is a UNESCO world heritage site containing the finest concentration of Art Nouveau buildings in Europe, whilst the old town with its baroque, gothic and renaissance architecture and narrow cobbled streets bears witness to its colourful past history.
Riga has a big city buzz feel to it and the capital is brimming with the vibes of a progressive cultural scene. The nightlife is busy and vibrant with an unlimited supply of bars and clubs which are full of young attractive Latvian’s who are easy going and open-hearted. Riga truly has it all and does it well, no wonder it’s poised to become the A-list star of the East.
